I am NOT one of those people who rips on bands bceause they sold out. I dont think Ive ever acually used the words, because I stick with bands I love because I love them. But there are times when it really does cross the line and it pisses me off, like it does anyone.

We are not upset because we didnt meet them, were not little whiny b****es, but a bands a band and lately it seems like its been way to much about Trace and Mason. Its not like im anti-either of them. Well..i never acually liked Trace. Thats just my opinion from the beginning, but I love Mason. Hes always been a sweetheart to us whenever we've met him, but the way he acted was really lame. I know theyve changed, its not just been this past show, but it hasnt bothered me until this one, because of the way they acted towards their fans, even the legit ones, not just the teenies, and the way that they hid in the back basically the entire time. Trust me, I go to tons and tons of shows, and i know the way bands work. The show ended around 8 and we waited untill 12:30 and even then, the kids who waited past that, said that no one ended up coming out.

You could be right, maybe it was just my show, but I payed money, spent time, and got excited just to be disapointed by my show. And thats enough to make me upset. The only girls who got a picture with Mason had to bribe him for 20 minutes with a bag of swedish fish, and he barely stuck his head out of the gate. Thats just disapointing to me.

Its not like this entire thing is based on that one show experience, im not like that, but you guys are looking for explenations and im giving them to you, but obviously since the thread upset you in the first place, nothings going to change that despite the reasons for my feelings on the band right now.

Look..basically, I am sorry if this offended you. It wasnt meant to. It was meant for a way for me to express my feelings and I just chose to use sarcasm. I totally respect your point of view and more power to ya if you feel that way, good, it means that the band is that important to you. But right now, I dont know if its worth it for me.

youve got to come to grips with the fact that the band is getting bigger and bigger, and theres really no control over that.
sure theyve changed. but that happens with fame and exposure.

they stay inside for so long because 1. they help clean up and 2. if they came right out, all the god damn MTV teenies would flock them. THAT'S why the meet&greet s*** got started. so their fans could meet them in a controlled environment with no stampedes that would kill them OR THEIR FANS.

maybe it was just your show.
in NYC, blake and ant got introduced. they were father back, and elevated, but there were spotlights on ALL FOUR OF THEM.

i'm done defending them against fans that think they sold out just because you don't get to meet them as much anymore. the more famous a band gets, the more you have to try, and the more they appreciate you for doing so. they can tell you care. trust me.

Those offended by this, I appologize, but honestly...you shouldn't be pissed. There is a VERY large majority of people, not just on this forum, but everywhere else, that really don't get it..
This wasnt meant to be mean, or to be rude for no other reason..

And the trace's hair thing..dude..im not saying anything at all against it. It was just the first one I saw that people were flocking too and talking about how hot he and Mason were. Im not saying just because you created the thread, or even commented on it, that you arent a "true" fan. I'm just saying, there were alot of people there who were really ignorant. Dont take it so seriously.

Not only that but I began posting on here because I am fed up with Metro Station. I loved them when I first learned of them and no one realized they existed or that Trace was Miley's brother, but somewhere along the lines of my 5th or 6th time seeing them (last week) they had completely changed who they were. When I first met them they were all really sweet and caring about their fans and would come out no matter what time it was to meet everyone. But at our last show, they refused to come out after the show to meet anyone because fans had payed $50 to get a meet and greet. It isn't even that much for Fall Out Boy, so it's utterly ridiculous that they think they are that famous to force fans to pay money for one picture, or a quick hello. Not only this, but in the concert Mason and Trace only introduced themselves and didn't even say one word or a thank you to Ant and Blake, forcing both of them to be moved to the back of the stage so the spotlights could be cast upon only these two. It's just ridiculous that they think their that great of a band where they could do this to their fans, and other band members.

It's sad when a band lets fame go to their head.

i made that forum on traces hair? i really dont see what the problem is.. i was asking people an opinion unlike this forum...and to me this forum right here is pointlessand i am not a fan becasue of looks...i'm sorry but dont judge...i like metro station becasue of there music , really i listen to there music and dont spend my time staring at traces snout..i just think it was rude to bring other poeple and my forum in this..

Acually, I've noticed youve really been the only one with comments that don't include wetting yourself over them. Give and take a few people.

That being said, and you being completly comfertable with your Metro Station fan status, you should realize this really doesnt apply to you. Obviously, it is directed to the ones that both of us know, need to do a little bit more research before they decide to change their myspace name to IAMKELSEYOMGZ.

The "mature beings" need to calm down and not get their panties so bunched up their asses. Its okay. Just making a statement for those with lesser briancells than the rest.

Really? Than what the heck are all these posts about that are just saying "Trace with long hair, or Trace with short hair", or the ones that say "who thinks Trace and Mason are hawt?" This wasn't based at the fans that actually care, this is based at the fans that just like them for the fact that they think somehow that they are attractive.

i'd kind of like to tell you to just leave the boards.
all the real fans who get taken seriously on these boards are very aware that there are four members of metro station.
we don't give a s*** what trace looks like.
