Hey everyone! We are so bummed to announce that we won't be able to attend "South By So What" this year due to a conflict that came up in our schedule. We hear it is going to be a killer time with an amazing line-up so we hate that we can't be a part of it this time around. We are getting ready to head into some pretty exciting stuff with the new EP, Middle of the Night . We will be releasing the second single beginning of November and can't wait to connect more with you guys. Keep checking in as we start to make more announcements regarding tour and other music news. Thank you for your continued support!

Who is Metro Station ?

Metro Station is an American Pop Rock / Electronica band formed in Los Angeles, California by guitarist and lead vocalist Mason Musso. In early 2006 Metro Station released their first song "Seventeen Forever" on their MySpace Music website. The group's popularity on MySpace Music grew quickly, propelling Metro Station to the top of the MySpace Music Unsigned Band's charts.

Later that year, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records. In the July 2007 issue of music magazine Alternative Press, Metro Station was listed as one of the "22 Best Underground Bands (That Likely Won't Stay Underground for Long)."

Metro Station released their self-titled debut studio album in September 2007. The album had two singles released, "Kelsey" and "Control". In mid-2008 the band released the single "Shake It," which provided a significant amount of commercial exposure, and the song peaked in the top-ten of three US charts. The song peaked at No. 3 on Hot Digital Songs, No. 9 in the Pop 100, No. 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 20 in the Hot Dance Airplay chart. The album charted at No. 39 in the Billboard 200, No. 1 Top Electronic Albums and No. 2 in the Top Heatseekers.

The band first toured in 2007 opening up for Motion City Soundtrack along with Anberlin and Mae. In 2008 they opened for Good Charlotte and Boys Like Girls in the Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour as well as headlining their own tour Disco Balls & Blow Up Dolls with Cash Cash, White Tie Affair and Tyga as the opening acts. In 2009 Metro Station toured in the Believers Never Die Part Deux Tour with Hey Monday, All Time Low, Cobra Starship and Fall Out Boy as well as opening for Miley Cyrus on her Arena tour. That same year, Metro Station contributed a song to the Alice In Wonderland soundtrack Almost Alice titled, "Where's My Angel."

On May 31, 2011, Musso released a new song, "Ain't So High", on YouTube. Soon after, he followed up with another new song, "Closer and Closer," produced by Blake Healy. Metro Station continued to perform throughout 2011, helping kick off the American Music Awards, as well as at various charity events, including "Why Hunger" campaign at Universal City Walk, and the 3rd Anniversary of the NOH8 campaign at the Los Angeles House of Blues.

Metro Station finished touring and playing a variety of venues at Sundance and SXSW in 2012 to make a return to the studio. Metro Station is set to release a new single, EP, and full-length album in 2013.
